Remei de Ca la Fresca

A quartet born in Arbúcies (Montseny, Girona) in 2020, Remei de Ca la Fresca —Xantal Rodríguez, Artur Piera, Iago Rueda and Víctor Inskipp— are one of the most unclassifiable and combative acts in the current Catalan scene. Their music moves between visceral rock, psychedelia, folklore and flashes of lo-fi electronics, with poetic and politically charged lyrics that spare no one. Live, all four rotate instruments with total ease. Their second album, *L'ham de la pregunta* (Bankrobber, 2024), established them as an essential voice, and in 2024 they won the jury prize at the Suns Europe festival in Udine.
